Janissary music was the inspiration to Mozart making turkish style. It's especially when oriental flavor did being popular in 18th-century European society. Ottoman military bands are thought to be the oldest kind of military marching band. The music was for military on wars, special days and the presence of khans (supreme rulers of turkish tribes; “Tuğ” Türk XI. century). In Ottoman, the band was generally known as mehterân (مهتران), though those bands used in the retinue of a vizier or prince were generally known as mehterhane (مهترخانه, meaning roughly, "a gathering of mehters"). In modern Turkish, the band is often termed mehter takımı "mehter team". In the West, the band's music is also often called Janissary music because the janissaries formed the core of the bands.

聽了這首歌，用心看一下歌詞，遲疑著之後，內心會納悶該說些甚麼呢！？即使歌曲內容唱的是屬於美國，但相同的情形在台灣卻也跟美國一模一樣，臭氧層減損造成溫室效應，夏天的溫度越來越熱、電視與媒體的影響力越來越大，道德信仰越來越薄弱、女孩追求纖細的身材、年輕一輩的天天上youtube、努力賺錢才能負擔所謂的好日子，台灣或許不會有恐怖分子的騷擾或者嚴重的非法移民，台海兩岸矛盾的緊張關係卻一點也不輕鬆。說真的這首歌沒有那麼偉大，就只是把美國今日的許多事實點了出來，歌詞幽默風趣，發人省思，也讓人毛骨悚然，旋律活潑、輕快好聽，大概是今年美國下半年鄉村音樂最受歡迎的一首歌了。

After listening to this song,  read the lyrics carefully, with some hesitation, my mind is wondering what I should say? Although the song is all about the United States, but situations are almost the same happening here in Taiwan. Global warming, political correctness, frivolous lawsuits, mass media influence, the decreased importance of religion...etc. Maybe it's lucky here in Taiwan doesn't encounter terrorism or illegal immigrant problems, however, Cross-Strait problems are not easy at all. Here and there, what supposed to be important is "American Ride" is not a song only stands for some grandiose or ambitious justice, it just points out some true facts, especially in Today's America, lyrics kind of funny, make you think, some how let you chilled. the music is alive and kicking, easy to sing along, probably, "American Ride" is going to be the best country of USA this year.
